I hiked in at 1pm – no one else showed up – but never mind. Found a lovely mossy spot near Bennett Creek and painted a small 5 x 5 panel with my Cigar Box Pochade – it was worth the short hike. Maybe next time others will be up for it – you do need a lightweight kit for this however. I feel most refreshed after listening to the waterfall and creek for a couple of hours.
