Busted on Zils Road – A word of Warning…

Just returned from our Tuesday paint-out along Zils Road in La Selva Beach. We got busted by the property owner of the Farm Stand for trespassing! She was not happy with us. Allowed us to “finish our paintings – but don’t come back again” – Apparently she had recently had a negative experience with some other artists – one of them got bit by her small dog and she got sued by the artist in question. So, in future, if you go to this location, DO NOT SET UP YOUR EASEL on the property to the right side of Zils Road. Stay on the public road or go elsewhere.

It is very rare to have this kind of reaction from a property owner, but today was the day. We apologized for our “error”. In future, please be considerate of where you set up your easels and if there is any doubt, ask permission of the owners (if they are around).
