Members, before your name and image are added to the Artists page, a portfolio item for your artist profile must be created. (This will contain information about your art including your website address.)
I set up portfolio items for those artists that I had a website for. (I used an image of your work that appeared on our previous site.) For everyone else, you can either create one yourself or I can create one for you after you upload the image you wish to use to the media library. In either case, you will need to update your Artist Portfolio. For an example of what your portfolio item with generate, take a look at mine.
I have created a Sample Artist Portfolio item that you can view when editing. It contains instructions on how to set up an artist portfolio. It is accessible by going to Resources and selecting it in the sidebar menu. (You can print a copy by hitting the share button on its lower right. Or open up two windows to the website so you can view it while you edit.)
Then you need the Artists page edited to link your name to your portfolio. (Most of you will need to have this done for you, since Authors do not have page edit permission.) The image used on the Artists page should be thumbnail size so that the page loads more quickly. So upload a thumbnail image to the Media library before editing the page.
