A Hard Day's Work

Yesterday the plein air turn out for our group was maybe the best ever.  At least 10 to 12 people showed to paint at Asilomar State Beach.  We couldn’t have asked for a better day in March.  We live in an amazing area with breathtaking coastal landscapes.  And you can’t beat the Pacific Grove, Carmel area for those emerald waters around the rocks.  Speaking of rocks.  Why do they have to be so difficult and come in so many different shapes, forms, and colors?  Nature should take pity on we poor, struggling artists.   Here are a couple of group photos.

Paint in progress. Im not sure of the artist, sorry

And, while we’re all slaving away creating our masterpieces, this man had the right idea.  He took a nap in the sun.

Keep painting.  Our group is the best!
