Wayne loves plein aire painting. For him painting outdoors is a joy, a passion, an opportunity to be expressive with light and dark values, and high intensity colors. He loves to apply thick layers of color over thin layers of wash.
He draws inspiration from the early California impressionist the Society of Six Painters. They express in their paintings a sense of light and boldness of color that excites him.
Wayne travels California’s Central Coast painting it’s dramatic landscapes, rolling hills, and crashing waves from Davenport to Monterey. Visit my web site. Wayneadachioilpaintings.com
